IACET CEU
IACET - International Association for Continuing Education and Training
IACET stands for International Association for Continuing Education and Training. They issue standards for educational entities that award CEUs (Continuing Education Units). They have a list of criteria with guidelines and acquired practices that can be found on their
website. The CDA Council strongly recommends that all
CDA renewal training be taken from agencies or organizations that meet the criteria for offering the IACET CEU. ClassesOnline4U has been approved to offer the IACET CEU. All of our certificates include the IACET logo and list the number of CEUs awarded for that class.
CEU - Continuing Education Units
The CEU is equivalent to 10 clock hours of training (1 CEU = 10 clock hours). Most of our classes are a single clock hour and are therefore worth 1/10th (.1) of a CEU. Courses or longer classes would of course be worth more, e.g. the 20 Hour Basic class we offer is worth 2 CEUs.
CDA Required Training
Your CDA training can be taken over a 3-5 year period for both the
CDA or CDA Renewal, so you may spread your training classes out over that time period. Our classes remain available to your for at least 7 years after you order them, so you can order a class and take it whenever you wish. We also keep a record of all your trainings which you can print out along with your certificates at any time in the future. This allows you to order, take, and track your trainings with us at any time, and provides you with a readily accessible record of all of those trainings you take from ClassesOnline4U in one easy-to-find location.
