Discusses the importance of having learning centers, how to establish them, and how to manage them.
Learning Outcomes:
Be able to:
1. Identify the reasons for having a variety of centers
2. Describe how to design those centers
3. Discuss how to make the most efficient use of limited space and limited funds
4. Describe how to make daily use of centers
5. Discuss a variety of methods for assigning students to centers
6. Describe how to incorporate individual centers into class-wide themes
7. Give a child his special day in the sun and share the results with others on our forum!
