Description:
This class discusses the challenges of working with and communicating with parents. It details some inner challenges to be faced, provides some keys to developing a good relationship at the beginning, looks at problem situations and encourages good listening skills.

Learning Outcomes:
Be able to:
1. Identify 5 feelings a Teacher may have that contribute to the difficulty of communicating with parents.
2. Define the 9 'keys' to a good first impression.
3. Discuss how a Teacher can best handle an angry parent or inappropriate discussion in front of others.
