Description:
Discusses infection control, legal and ethical issues, and psychosocial issues in more detail than the 2 hour course. Designed for non-licensed healthcare providers, certain licensed providers and EMS.
Learning Outcomes:
Be able to:
1. Protect yourself from exposure to HIV.
2. Discuss basic legal and ethical issues surrounding HIV.
3. Discuss psychosocial issues surrounding HIV.
4. Provide support for someone experiencing HIV.
