Michigan Accreditation

Michigan accepts our online training for credit for the annual training hours required by the State. Childcare Center caregivers and directors are required to complete 12 hours of annual training in any of the following topics: child development, curriculum, child discipline, health and safety, nutrition and working with parents.

Home childcare providers are required to complete 10 hours of annual training in the topic areas of child development, program planning and administrative management for a child care business. Assistant caregivers in a home childcare facility are required to complete 5 hours of training each year in child development and caring for children.

Other Information

ClassesOnline4U offers a CDA course that provides the 120 hours required to obtain your national CDA credential. All of our classes include the IACET CEU logo and can thus also be used for your CDA Renewal. This requirement is 4.5 CEUs or 45 clock hours. All classes are measured in clock hours and are worth .1 CEU per clock hour.
